International Kickoff-Symposium VIA REGIA - European Cultural Route
in the Thuringian States Chancellery Erfurt
02nd July till 04th July 2004
The participants
141 participants from Ukraine (29), Poland (27) and Germany (74) participated in the symposium.
They came from 54 cities and were
- 17 deputies, mayors, presidents and vice-presidents of cities,
- 33 managers and managing co-workers of state organizations,
- 25 managing co-workers of city administrations,
- 33 representatives of associations and companies,
Representatives of international organizations from France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg also participated; they support the project “VIA REGIA – European Cultural Route”.
The broad spectrum of interests in a common project related to the VIA REGIA has been expressed through the participation of different types of persons.
Amongst others the following persons participated:
- 25 politicians, managers and staffer of political administrations,
- 18 economic and municipal representatives,
- 16 cultural creators, managers and staffer of cultural institutions and administrations,
- 13 representatives of tourism associations and institutions,
- 18 scientists, managers and staffer of scientific, particularly historical, institutes,
museums and research´s institutions, - 13 marketing experts,
- 15 administrators for international cooperation.
